The Norwegian-German owner fulfilled his dream with this boutique hotel in Paraty. Having travelled and lived in several countries around the world, the quiet charm and natural beauty of Paraty made the decision to stay and live in Brazil an easy one.
After two years of rebuilding and renovating the house, the owner and his dedicated team are proud to offer a “home away from home” for a growing number of guests from around the world.

Great experience, very attentive staff and a delicious breakfast. The hotel is very close to the centre of Paraty, but away from the hustle and bustle (so it's quieter). Clean and very comfortable rooms. Very comfortable overall.
The hotel's location is a bit hard to find, but the staff are very friendly and the hotel is very clean and stylish. The parking was a bit far, but the staff helped us get there. The hotel is also elegant and charming. One thing that could be improved is the water pressure in the shower, which is a bit weak — but since it’s a resort area, I’ll let it slide. The hotel is conveniently located just a few minutes’ walk from the historic centre.
Super cute place, very well done. Strategically located just a 2-minute walk from the old town, yet very quiet. Amazing breakfast – by far the best I had in South America.

The breakfast was spectacular, and if you need anything, the staff are incredibly helpful and friendly — possibly the friendliest I’ve ever encountered in a hotel! Also, it’s just a short walk from the town centre, which was great, and it had good parking facilities. It was also a lovely surprise to be served coffee and cake in the afternoon (and the cake was delicious!).

Beautiful villa-style hotel, with a lovely setting and beautiful flower beds. Excellent breakfasts. Located close to the pedestrian area of Paraty, where there are many restaurants.

The bed is very comfortable and the pillows are great. Breakfast is prepared with great care and has excellent quality, as almost everything is freshly made. The staff are helpful with any questions and speak English. The location is excellent – everything is within walking distance and it feels safe. A wonderful, clean oasis.
